I have a voice and an opinion I enjoy expressing. This started as a personal social challenge to myself and has turned into something I quite enjoy. Whenever the moment presents itself, and I get inspired to write, I do it. It is liberating and relaxing, even if no one ever reads what I post! There is never any offense intended for those who choose to read posts, but candor will be apparent. Every family I helped with sleep, breastfeeding, or general infant issues would ask for my opinions and product recommendations based on my experience and knowledge. Finally, I decided to put it all in one place for my clients and the general public to experience and reference. I am passionate about quality, but also take into consideration value, ease of use, durability, and visual appeal. With the help of my loving husband, I have the added benefit of a very critical father’s input with every product review. Due to my devotion to my children, family, and other interests the reviews are a work in progress.
Retailers, especially online retailers, tend to use an incentive to get customers to review products. This leads to bias reviews, and an overwhelming number of reviews based on those looking for a discount. Most non-solicited reviews are written because the customer had a negative experience, thus skewing the reviews. Here, I review what I have used with my own children. Generally, the reviews are of products I like and use frequently, but I am branching out into the negatives a bit as well. If you have a product you would like me to try and review, I am happy to do so if it pertains to my situation (children’s age and our lifestyle).
